About
It Started With A Birthday Party
I needed to have an activity for my daughter's party (long, long ago) and came up with a beaded memory wire bracelet - big hit with the girls!
Then the unthinkable happened - I lost my sister to breast cancer. I threw myself into training for the 3-Day walk in Seattle. I created jewelry and accessories to ultimately raise over $3,000 both in 2008 and in 2009.
I was hooked on making jewelry and going on long walks.
I'm a wife, mom of three plus a sweet chocolate Labrador named Rue, and grandma to one indescribably silly boy. I love to work in my yard, go on big walks, read, and travel (all of which inspire my jewelry designs). My oldest two have moved out on their own, which brought about a lot of self reflecting. This time of reflection led me into the world of metal smithing. I'm mostly self-taught, experimenting and learning as I go...I love what I do!
I've had my creations on Etsy since 2012 and have over 130 solid five star reviews. I hope to build on that trust, having complete control of my own business & platform!
