I created a shadow box style setting around the decorative sterling bezel setting of the turquoise. I created a big, unique bail that will allow a strand of beads, thick chain, or leather to easily go through. This pendant would be FABULOUS on a strand of Navajo silver pearls!!
Black 5mm braided leather cord coordinates perfectly with the matrix of the turquoise. I created a custom sterling silver clasp for the leather, and the total length is 24 inches end to end. You won't find a leather necklace cord like this in a store.

Jewelry should not be subjected to lotions, sprays or any chemical, as damage to materials may result. If a light cleaning is needed, usually a soft, water dampened cloth will do the trick.
Items can be stored with an anti-tarnish strip or you can polish pieces with a Sunshine cloth. The more a piece is worn, the less it tarnishes due to body oils.
A person's body chemistry may cause changes to metals. Renaissance wax is a commonly used sealant to prevent these changes. My items are not sealed unless expressly stated in listing description.
