I saw this Bumblebee Jasper oval in my stash of stones and I knew I had to make a bee and a bee needs its honeycomb. Perfect necklace for the gardener in your life (or if you're the garden lover treating yourself)!
The pendant measures approximately 3.25" from the top of the bail to the bottom of the stone setting. The bee link is .85" in diameter and the stone setting itself is approximately 1.52" long (not including the ring on top) by .61" wide.
The rolo chain is 22.25 inches long and closes with a large lobster. All of the rings have been soldered closed making it secure.
I created all of the elements from sheets of .925 sterling silver. The bee was created using a vintage brass die (mold) forming the sheet of silver down into the impression.
This was created by my hands and tools, and may have marks that are unique to my tools. It's hallmarked with my initials and stamped .925.

Jewelry should not be subjected to lotions, sprays or any chemical, as damage to materials may result. If a light cleaning is needed, usually a soft, water dampened cloth will do the trick.
Items can be stored with an anti-tarnish strip or you can polish pieces with a Sunshine cloth. The more a piece is worn, the less it tarnishes due to body oils.
A person's body chemistry may cause changes to metals. Renaissance wax is a commonly used sealant to prevent these changes. My items are not sealed unless expressly stated in listing description.
