I just love the colors of Cherry Creek Jasper - no two pieces are ever alike, unless slabbed from the same specimen. The colors range from brick red/orange, cream, brown, and shades of olive green.
I've set the heart shape stone in fine silver and surrounded it with a thick twisted sterling wire that matches the bail loop. A lovely green tourmaline is set at the top of the heart that compliments the stone perfectly! I made a large bail that has the same pattern as the back of the pendant, and it's large enough for substantial beads or leather to go through. I picture someone adding this to their collection that has vintage Navajo beads to create their own statement.

Jewelry should not be subjected to lotions, sprays or any chemical, as damage to materials may result. If a light cleaning is needed, usually a soft, water dampened cloth will do the trick.
Items can be stored with an anti-tarnish strip or you can polish pieces with a Sunshine cloth. The more a piece is worn, the less it tarnishes due to body oils.
A person's body chemistry may cause changes to metals. Renaissance wax is a commonly used sealant to prevent these changes. My items are not sealed unless expressly stated in listing description.
