This necklace started with a sheet of sterling silver. The 18" corrugated chain is created with rings that are soldered closed for security and connect to a lobster clasp.
I created the bail and also soldered all the rings closed. The pendant is about 1.75 inches from the top of the jump rings of the bail to the bottom and 1.17 inches wide.
The piece was lightly patina'd and will naturally tarnish over time. If you wish to seal it, you could use a material called Renaissance Wax, If you polish the piece, you can go lightly over the design to keep the darker patina in the design crevices.

Jewelry should not be subjected to lotions, sprays or any chemical, as damage to materials may result. If a light cleaning is needed, usually a soft, water dampened cloth will do the trick.
Items can be stored with an anti-tarnish strip or you can polish pieces with a Sunshine cloth. The more a piece is worn, the less it tarnishes due to body oils.
A person's body chemistry may cause changes to metals. Renaissance wax is a commonly used sealant to prevent these changes. My items are not sealed unless expressly stated in listing description.
