Cowgirl Boots Necklace with Sunflower Hatband, Cubic Zirconia Setting

This is such a sweet, feminine necklace for the person that loves western vibes but just a little flashy bling!

I started with a thick sheet of recycled pure copper and rolled it through my rolling mill. I then sawed it out by hand and soldered it to a sheet of .925 sterling silver. I created a twisted rope bail and a ring that is patterned with sunflowers that coordinate with the pendant design beautifully.

I added a champagne colored cubic zirconia that is tube set in 999 fine silver adding that sweet little sparkle! The back of the pendant is marked .925 and my maker's mark. It measures approximately 2 inches from the top of the bail to the bottom and 1.25 inches at the widest.

The sterling silver rolo chain is 18 inches and connecting rings are soldered closed to the lobster clasp.

I have not sealed any of the metal, so it will patina over time. You can choose to lightly polish with a polishing cloth or seal it (temporarily) with a product such as Renaissance Wax, to help keep the dark patina in the design crevices.
