This brown flower fossil coral cabochon has such interesting characteristics -one perfect little flower from the Mother Nature! Earthy, neutral jewelry for everyday wear.
I've created a simple large ring bail that allows you to be creative with your pendant - changing out the chain for leather, as an example. The cabochon is set in a simple fine silver setting soldered to thick sterling sheet for durability. I've given the metal a tumbled, aged patina.
The pendant measures approximately .75 inches around (1.8cm) and from the top of the bail to the bottom is about 1 inch (2.7cm). I've stamped the back with .925 and my maker's mark.
The chain is approximately 18 inches and closes with a large lobster clasp.

Jewelry should not be subjected to lotions, sprays or any chemical, as damage to materials may result. If a light cleaning is needed, usually a soft, water dampened cloth will do the trick.
Items can be stored with an anti-tarnish strip or you can polish pieces with a Sunshine cloth. The more a piece is worn, the less it tarnishes due to body oils.
A person's body chemistry may cause changes to metals. Renaissance wax is a commonly used sealant to prevent these changes. My items are not sealed unless expressly stated in listing description.
