Another piece I created with a Southwest feel. I love the vibrancy of the orange spiny oyster!
This was created all by me using traditional metalsmithing techniques with all sterling silver and fine silver.
The ring measures 1.50 inches at the longest and .55 inches at the widest and has a thick patterned band in size 7 US.
Spiny oyster is found primarily in the Sea of Cortez off the Baja peninsula.

Jewelry should not be subjected to lotions, sprays or any chemical, as damage to materials may result. If a light cleaning is needed, usually a soft, water dampened cloth will do the trick.
Items can be stored with an anti-tarnish strip or you can polish pieces with a Sunshine cloth. The more a piece is worn, the less it tarnishes due to body oils.
A person's body chemistry may cause changes to metals. Renaissance wax is a commonly used sealant to prevent these changes. My items are not sealed unless expressly stated in listing description.
