Peacock freshwater pearls - shades of blue and some have green - are hand wire wrapped with sterling silver wire. All wraps are checked to make sure that the end is tucked tight and nothing is pokey - jewelry shouldn't hurt!
I've wrapped the pearl links to a large sterling silver spring clasp and soldered a sterling silver tag I've stamped with .925 and my initials. The necklace is 24 inches long end to end, and can also be wrapped around your wrist for a funky bracelet.

Jewelry should not be subjected to lotions, sprays or any chemical, as damage to materials may result. If a light cleaning is needed, usually a soft, water dampened cloth will do the trick.
Items can be stored with an anti-tarnish strip or you can polish pieces with a Sunshine cloth. The more a piece is worn, the less it tarnishes due to body oils.
A person's body chemistry may cause changes to metals. Renaissance wax is a commonly used sealant to prevent these changes. My items are not sealed unless expressly stated in listing description.
