I've created a thick sterling silver square ring band displaying a sweet Royston ribbon turquoise using traditional metalsmithing techniques of metal, solder and torch.
Ribbon turquoise is also known as boulder turquoise, as that is the host rock.
The beauty of a square band ring is that it is kinder to swollen or arthritic knuckles. You put the ring on with a corner going over the top of knuckle and then turning it right side up sliding it down. Square rings are also less likely to spin around.
I've marked the ring with .925 and my maker's mark.

Jewelry should not be subjected to lotions, sprays or any chemical, as damage to materials may result. If a light cleaning is needed, usually a soft, water dampened cloth will do the trick.
Items can be stored with an anti-tarnish strip or you can polish pieces with a Sunshine cloth. The more a piece is worn, the less it tarnishes due to body oils.
A person's body chemistry may cause changes to metals. Renaissance wax is a commonly used sealant to prevent these changes. My items are not sealed unless expressly stated in listing description.
