White Buffalo Turquoise Ring Size 9

High grade White Buffalo turquoise cabochons perfectly matched were curated for this one of a kind ring! I used thick sterling silver sheet for the base and fine silver for around the stone (bezel). I created a "raw silk" pattern on the underside of the ring. The ring band is thick sterling triple half-round that measures size 9. The ring is marked with my initials and .925.  The ring was created using traditional silversmithing techniques and given a distressed patina.

White Buffalo Turquoise was discovered in western Utah/Nevada area. To date, no other vein of this turquoise has been discovered anywhere else and when this current vein runs out, that will be the last of it.

Turquoise is porous, so chemicals can damage it. Use only pure water and a soft cloth to wipe it clean, and you can clean your turquoise frequently without causing damage. The natural oil of your skin is good for turquoise, and it will naturally polish it when you wear it. Being set in silver, wearing it often will also keep the silver from tarnishing. Silver polish will damage the surface of turquoise.
