This pendant is truly a labor of love. I handcrafted every detail of this pendant using vintage dies and patterns that together are one of a kind. The nautilus is constructed of sterling silver and soldered to another sheet of silver that has a pattern of starfish, urchin, nautilus, and sea flora.
I repeated the pattern on the back of the black onyx setting. The two pieces are connected with handmade rings and hang from a handmade bail. The pendant measures 2.55 inches from the top of the bail to the bottom of the setting and 1.30 inches at the widest.

Jewelry should not be subjected to lotions, sprays or any chemical, as damage to materials may result. If a light cleaning is needed, usually a soft, water dampened cloth will do the trick.
Items can be stored with an anti-tarnish strip or you can polish pieces with a Sunshine cloth. The more a piece is worn, the less it tarnishes due to body oils.
A person's body chemistry may cause changes to metals. Renaissance wax is a commonly used sealant to prevent these changes. My items are not sealed unless expressly stated in listing description.
