This sweet Welo opal just glows with so many flashing colors, but is so hard to capture in a photo!
I patterned thick rectangle sterling silver wire with a sunflower pattern and formed it into a size 6.25 US.
Avoid submerging these stones in liquids whether its water, oils or lotions. Please remove opal jewelry before washing hands, putting on lotion, swimming, showering or similar activities. I say this for all my jewelry because really, it's the best thing to do to care for all kinds of jewels, but it's especially important for this absorbent stone (or ones that are transparent).

Jewelry should not be subjected to lotions, sprays or any chemical, as damage to materials may result. If a light cleaning is needed, usually a soft, water dampened cloth will do the trick.
Items can be stored with an anti-tarnish strip or you can polish pieces with a Sunshine cloth. The more a piece is worn, the less it tarnishes due to body oils.
A person's body chemistry may cause changes to metals. Renaissance wax is a commonly used sealant to prevent these changes. My items are not sealed unless expressly stated in listing description.
